I have always loved the feeling you get after a detox when your body feels clean and fresh, and your skin is glowing to match. However, I don’t like the idea of putting chemicals or anything unnatural into my body or having to starve myself for a week to enjoy the benefits.

I stumbled across matcha tea when I was in Japan travelling and was given a bowl of tea by my guide to get over my jetlag. I immediately loved the strong, pure, earthy taste and loved it even more when I found out the incredible benefits it provides within just a small portion. Just one Chashaku (bamboo scoop equivalent to 1/2 teaspoon) with hot water each morning was enough to leave me feeling more awake, more focused and feeling much more healthy.

After returning to England I sourced the most premium matcha I could find to ensure that the powder was the best quality and most importantly, completely organic with no added nasties. I have tried and tested different ways of using the matcha powder in my daily life to give me the best results and the most rewarding detoxes.

To share the amazing benefits I experienced, I set up Matcha Detox to share my story and the benefits of matcha.

I've also developed a 14 day detox programme to kickstart a healthier way of life, but of course you can use it as a simple addition each day to feel the benefits on a long-term basis from weight loss to clearer skin and to a flatter stomach.
